Tuskegee man charged with theft of property

AUBURN, Ala. - On April 14, 2025, Auburn Police arrested Tyveon Leondra Wagner, age 19, from Tuskegee, Alabama, on a felony warrant charging him with theft of property first degree.

The arrest stems from Auburn Police receiving a stolen vehicle report on April 13, 2025.  Officers met with a victim who reported that a vehicle was stolen overnight near the 300 block of Frazier Street.

During the early hours of April 14, officers located the stolen vehicle near the 400 block of Bragg Avenue. The occupants of the vehicle were detained as detectives responded for further investigation.

Tyveon Leondra Wagner was identified as the suspect and subsequently arrested for theft of property first degree. Wagner was additionally charged with possession of marijuana second degree due to narcotics that were recovered from his possession.

Wagner was transported to the Lee County Jail and held on a $6,000 bond.

All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
